On our way to the library today, we stopped at CVS because we were in desperate need of Pull-ups. I try to combine trips whenever possible, because if I'm wasting time running all over the place, then couponing doesn't really make sense! I was hoping to use the $5/$25 coupon that I told you about, but they were out of two of the items that I wanted, so I had to improvise....with two kids, at lunchtime! Here is what I ended up with:
Bought:
(2) Small Boxes of Wheat Thins $1.00 ea
(1) Huggies Wipes Tub $3.49
(1) Huggies Pull-ups $12.49
Total before coupons: $17.98
Used:
(2) $1/1 Wheat Thins printables HERE
(1) $2/1 Huggies wipes CVS coupon (printed when I scanned my card last time)
(1) $2/1 Any Huggies Diaper product printable HERE (this wording means it counts for wipes too!)
(1) $2/1 Pull-ups (mine was from somewhere else, but here's a link to print one) HERE
$9.98 ECBs
Total after coupons and ECBs: $.84
**This is an example of why I try to accumulate a lot of ECBs, even if it sometimes means buying things I don't need. Even after spending $9.98 in ECBs, I have a $6.99 ECB left to use for my next deal. I didn't earn any ECBs for this, but when my ECBs get high, I will typically use them for pull-ups, paper towels, or toilet paper.

Wow! When I grow up, I want to be just like you!;0) Thanks for the inspiration to keep trying the CVS thing!
ReplyDeleteYeah, rub it in! LOL. I have to get there today because I have ECB expiring today!!!
ReplyDeleteOne good thing i found out from the manager at the Culpeper CVS is that they WILL take expired ECB up to 3 months past their experation date! At least that store will....other CVS stores may not.
ReplyDeletethey told me the same thing. :)
